Gonime review of Dandadan, the anime scored 9/10 and was described as follows: “Dandadan thrives on its lovable characters and their chemistry, making them the true standout over the plot and setting. It’s an adventurous ride you won’t want to miss.”
In the final episode, the story followed Okarun, Momo, and Jiji as they investigate a mystery in Jiji’s hometown while staying at his “cursed” house. Momo visits an onsen alone, only to be cornered by a strange group of men who don’t even appear fully human. Season 2 will likely pick up directly from this cliffhanger. Based on the ongoing manga by Yukinobu Tatsu, Season 2 of Dandadan is expected to introduce new arcs, villains, and deeper character development.
Dandadan is streaming on Netflix, Prime Video, Muse Asia, and Crunchyroll. All platforms are expected to simulcast the second season or provide weekly episodes shortly after the Japanese airing.
