Christmas in July is official! The Rascal Does Not Dream stage event at AnimeJapan 2025 today unveiled a brand-new trailer for the next anime series, titled Rascal Does Not Dream of Santa Claus, and confirmed a July 2025 broadcast start. The opening song, "Snowdrop" by Conton Candy, and two new cast additions are also previewed. Konomi Kohara voices Sara Himeji, one of Sakuta's cram school students, and Manaka Iwami voices Miori Mito, a trendy university student.

In this volume, Sakuta Azusagawa, now a college student, finds himself entangled in yet another strange case of “Puberty Syndrome”—a supernatural affliction that mirrors the emotional struggles of adolescence. This time, he encounters a woman dressed in a miniskirt Santa Claus outfit who introduces herself as Toko Kirishima.
However, Sakuta quickly discovers that multiple people are claiming to be Toko, each one wrapped in their own mysterious circumstances. As the confusion deepens, Sakuta must uncover the truth behind this new phenomenon while protecting those he cares about—especially Mai Sakurajima, his girlfriend and a former teen actress who has experienced her own battles with Puberty Syndrome.
